Investment Management

Because of the inherent risk of investing, it is important to adhere to an investment strategy that seeks to minimize the risk of your expected level of return. Your financial advisor has access to professional asset managers with the experience and resources to develop the investment strategies and portfolios that can help you manage risk and achieve your financial goals.

Balance your risk and reward, investing can be challenging

Many factors beyond your control impact the performance of your investments. For that reason, it’s important to have a strategy that can help you weather the ups and downs of the market.

Lincoln Investment has a solution – Asset Management services within our Retirement and Investor Solutions Premier platforms – to help you achieve that delicate balance between risk and reward. In one comprehensive package, Asset Management portfolios provide diversification and ongoing asset allocation. You can choose from well-known money managers to find the risk-management strategy tailored to your needs, comfort level, and timeline.

Our advisors offer two types of Asset Management: strategic asset allocation which is a long-term approach to investing and tactical asset allocation, a more active short-term approach.

Neither asset allocation nor diversification guarantee a profit or protects against a loss.

There is no assurance that the techniques and strategies discussed are suitable for all investors or will yield positive outcomes. Investing involves risks including possible loss of principal.

The Retirement Solutions and Investor Solutions Premier professionally managed portfolios are offered as part of a discretionary advisory service. Lincoln Investment Planning, LLC will assess an annual investment advisory fee based on the value of assets in your advisory account(s). Additional information regarding Lincoln Investment Planning, LLC's investment advisory fees can be found in the firm's Form ADV 2A, which is available upon request.

In addition to the many benefits and asset management services available on Retirement Solutions Premier, investors have access to other investment vehicles with our Capital Analysts Asset Management Services (CAAMS) programs. CAAMS is a suite of investment programs for building and managing wealth. Your advisor can use these programs to help build the investment portfolio best suited for your goals and priorities.

CAAMS offers a variety of programs to help meet a variety of needs. You will have access to broad diversification opportunities in asset class, style, markets and geography.

The CAAMS programs are advisory services provided for a fee. A copy of Capital Analysts’ most recent Form ADV 2A and/or Appendix I brochure is available upon request and contains more information regarding the program, including the management of the portfolios, conflicts of interest, and fees. Asset allocation and diversification do not ensure a profit or protect against loss. There is no assurance that any investment process will consistently lead to successful results. There are risks associated with investing, including the risk of loss of principal.
